After-School Wraparound Club

To book a place in our After-School Wraparound club, simply booked and pay on parent pay then email Mrs Mac asc@stjohnssandbach.co.uk. to confirm your booking. Please DO NOT contact the school office. All bookings must go through the after school email.

Below, you will see some frequently asked questions about our After-School Wraparound club.

Which school staff run the club?

Mrs McPherson is the club Manager and she is assisted by Miss Dodd. Sometimes Mrs Redfern and Mrs Cheetham help out.

 What will the children be doing in the club?

The club will provide a range of activities – arts, crafts, games and chilled relaxing time - to keep the children busy and occupied after-school until parents are able to come and collect.

What food & drink will be provided?

Light snacks and drinks will be provided in slot 1 (up until 4:30pm) and a hot snack and drinks will be provided from 5pm in slot 2 (up until 6pm). Varying from pasta, toasties, soup, hotdogs, sausage rolls with beans, cheese on toast, beans on toast. (please let us know if your child any allergies)

How do you make a booking?

To make a booking, simply book and pay on parent pay before 12 o’clock on the day and then email Mrs Mac on asc@stjohnssandbach.co.uk. Mrs Mac will confirm with you that your child(ren) are booked into the club.

How do you make payment?

Payment will be made at the time of booking on parent pay.  Now we are a cashless school we would prefer payments online on parent pay or childcare vouchers.

 (voucher payments) Parents will receive an invoice at the end of the month, for the days and times that your child(ren) has attended the club. There will be a 10% discount on the second child.    Invoices must be paid within 5 days.

Are parents tied into a contract?

No. We don’t believe in parents being tied into a contract and having to pay for a service that they may not need all of the time. You will simply pay for what you use. Please cancel bookings if not attending.

Can we use childcare tax credits or childcare vouchers to make payment?

Yes, Parents will be able to pay using childcare tax credits or approved childcare vouchers (please make sure that you contact your childcare voucher provider and inform them of our details). Please let Mrs Mac know if you are paying by vouchers. Bookings by vouchers to be booked directly with Mrs Mac not on Parent pay.

What are the prices for the After-School Wraparound club?

Slot 1 - £7 per child      3:20pm until 4:30pm and includes a light snack and drinks.

Slot 2 - £14 per child    3:30pm until 6pm and includes a light snack, drinks and a hot snack around 5pm.

Attending an extra curriculum club but need After School Club after

No problem at all.  Just contact Mrs Mac on asc@stjohnssandbach.co.uk. Children can be dropped from the clubs. You will only be charged £7.

Cancellation

Where possible at least 48 hours notice to cancel or there will be a charge.  Please email Mrs Mac on asc@stjohnssandbach,co.uk. Please do not contact the school office.

If your child is off sick

Please email Mrs Mac on asc@stjohnssandbach.co.uk to cancel your session as soon as possible in addition to contacting school.

Running Late for club pick up

Please call our After School Club mobile on 07518 764591 (please note this phone is not manned during the day).  Please do not contact the school office as it isn’t always manned after 4.30pm.

Late Charges (per child) Club closes at 6pm prompt

£5 charge for 5 mins late

£10 charge for 10 mins late

£15 charge for 15 mins late

Breakfast Club

We also run our own Breakfast club for those parents who need an earlier drop-off due to work or travel commitments. Again, parents are not tied into contracts and you only pay for what you use. 

If you need to make use of this service.  Breakfast club is becoming very busy and therefore we would like you to book ahead, but last minute bookings are welcome. Simply, book on parent pay and bring your child to the main school entrance from 8am and we will sign them in and they can go into the Breakfast club where they can have toast, fruit, milk or water, watch CBBC on the big screen or play games and activities until their classroom opens at 8:30am.

The cost is £2 per child, per day and this can be booked on parentpay each day or for the week/term. Any questions on breakfast club please email Mrs Mac on asc@stjohnssandbach.co.uk
